Campaign Overview

Objective

There was a sense of excitement among petrolheads in the region around the Nissan Patrol 2020 launch (the Patrol is not a car, it's an emotion in the Middle East).

 

However, the Bahrain launch was delayed, which dampened the enthusiasm of car lovers.

 

The brand wanted to keep the spirits high despite this unforeseen delay.

Insight

Bahraini petrol heads would do anything to be the first ones to get their hands on the already delayed Nissan Patrol 2020.

Idea

Nissan has been one of the pioneers of innovation. To stay true to Nissan's spirit, we created an Instagram campaign that re-invented how Bahrainis used their social media campaign.

 

We created the first interactive game on the Instagram feed that let one lucky Bahraini drive the Nissan Patrol 2020 before it was on the streets.

Results

In just four days

Reach increased by 62K

Engagement increased by 1.2K

Followers increased by 37.2K

 

The campaign won the Digital MENA Award for the Best Social Campaign for Automobiles.
